By accessing or using the Flute website or software, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our service.

Description of Service

Flute provides multi-device control software that enables users to share mouse and keyboard input across multiple computers. The service includes both free (open source) and paid (licensed) versions.

Account Registration

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

License Types

Free/Open Source

The free version of Flute is provided as-is under an open source license. You may build, use, and modify the source code according to the license terms.

Personal License

Personal licenses are for non-commercial, personal use only. You may not use a Personal license in any business, commercial, or work environment.

Commercial License

Commercial licenses are required for business use, including freelancing, work-from-home scenarios, or any profit-generating activity. Each user requires their own license.

Payment and Refunds

Paid licenses are billed annually. Pricing is subject to change, but existing subscribers will maintain their current rate for the duration of their subscription period.

Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 30 days of purchase. Contact support for refund requests.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to circumvent licensing or security measures
• Reverse engineer the licensing system
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use the service to harm, harass, or violate the rights of others

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time through your account settings.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
